A new men’s support group focused on connection, healing and personal growth, has launched in Brockville.
“Basically Brothers” was founded by cousins Corey Mills and Roger Provost, who grew up in the city and now live near Ottawa. Both say they overcame difficult pasts that included addiction, crime and other challenges.
Mills spoke about why they decided to start the initiative.
Provost explained why they are bringing Basically Brothers to Brockville.
An in-person meet-up is planned for April 24 at One Love Jamaican Cuisine, located inside the Stingers Plaza.
Mills shared a few closing thoughts.
Both founders say they hope the group will help build stronger individuals and a healthier community.
