Brockville-area families and pet owners will have a new way to enjoy Halloween this fall, with the first-ever Trail of Treats inviting them to walk the Mac Johnson trails and collect treats along the way.
The Ontario SPCA Leeds Grenville and the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area are hosting the first-ever Trail of Treats on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Katelyn Stojadinov of the Ontario SPCA explains the concept.
Stojadinov says there is still room for local businesses to take part in the event.
The event is being held in partnership with the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, which works to preserve and protect the natural area.
