Brockville’s 46th annual Terry Fox Run brought the community together last Sunday at Thousand Islands Secondary School under sunny skies.
Participants walked and ran in memory of loved ones affected by cancer, a disease expected to impact 250,000 Canadians this year.
Organizer Ted Raby said this year’s event raised more money than it has in years.

The Brockville event has raised more than $500,000 for cancer research since 1981, continuing a local tradition tied to Terry Fox’s goal of supporting cancer research across Canada.
