Starts Friday afternoon with the Parade of Sail
The Tall Ships Festival returns to Brockville this weekend.
Jeremy Newman is the Chair of the Festival, he's getting things ready at Blockhouse Island as they do expect of the ships to arrive before Friday's official start.
Seven ships in all will be pulling into the city, and Newman says they'll be taking part in Friday's top draw.
In addition to the tall ships, there will be other participants in the parade including entries from the Brockville Yacht Club. The Brockville Police will also be showing off their new vessel.
Newman also has some advice for anyone in the city wanting to check it out. Especially as construction continues in the city.
He adds downtown gets quite busy, even when the festival is not on. That can make finding a parking spot next to impossible.
