34 track and field athletes in particular
Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) is well represented at the Provincial Championships this week.
Track & field in particular has always been a huge strength for TISS. Here's Principal Laura Oliver.
Oliver says she's excited to see how they'll do in Ottawa Thursday and Friday.
Additionally, this will be the Senior Boys' Soccer team's third straight trip to OFSAA.
Event runs Thursday to Saturday in Ottawa.
Oliver also says they haven't always done baseball, and you never know how things will go with a team that has students from grades 9-12, but she's told that its been nothing but positive.
OFSAA Baseball continues today in Whitby.
Lastly, Oliver says the Pirates are thrilled to have three amazing athletes playing bocce ball in the Special Olympics event in Ottawa this week as well.
