Drug Bust: Four Arrested, Weapons and Cash Seized

Four people were arrested following a drug trafficking investigation in the Brockville area.

On March 6, 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit, with help from the OPP Canine Unit, Leeds County OPP, and Brockville Police, executed a search warrant at a Kincaid Street home. Authorities seized fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and cocaine, as well as weapons, drug paraphernalia, a loaded syringe, and nearly $2,300 in cash.

Alexandra Daoust, 25, of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal; David Hannah, 56, of Brockville; Mark McIntosh, 51, of Gananoque; and Joanne Ryan, 59, of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, face charges of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for trafficking. McIntosh also faces charges for possession of a prohibited device and failing to comply with a probation order.

Daoust and McIntosh remain in custody, while Hannah and Ryan were released with a court date set for April 4, 2025.
