Internet issue the root of the problem
Listeners in Brockville may have notice both 104.9 myFM and 103.7 GIANT FM suddenly went off the air earlier this morning.
Cogeco, which provides service to the stations, is working to fix the issue and restore full broadcast as soon as possible.
In the meantime, backup audio from sister stations is playing to keep listeners entertained while repairs continue. Station staff say they are working hard behind the scenes to bring the signal back online and thank listeners for their patience.
The outage has affected both FM frequencies across the Brockville area.
Crews have not yet provided an exact timeline for when regular programming will return but promise updates as soon as they’re available.
