Today: Loaves and Fishes serves low-cost meals Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 25 Front Ave. W., Brockville. Dine-in or delivery available. Meals are $2; children under 10 eat free. Meal tickets: 3 for $5. Call 613-345-6498.

Tomorrow: The Rotary Outdoor Rink at 185 George Street in Brockville is open for the 2025–2026 season, offering free outdoor skating seven days a week. Public skating runs 9:00 am–12:00 pm and 4:00–6:00 pm, with hockey 12:00–4:00 pm and 6:00–10:00 pm, and an attendant on site daily until 10:00 pm.

Tomorrow: The Spencerville Arena, open since 1967, is competing for Kraft Hockeyville 2026, and the community is invited to share why it’s more than a rink on January 10th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the arena. Computers and staff will be available to help submit your stories, photos, and memories to support this important local landmark.
