The township is in a "Level 2" drought
Rain poured down on Brockville and area for the first time in a month yesterday, but one day won't change what has been a lengthy drought.
North Augusta in particular is feeling the effects of it with the Nation River's water levels way down and dry in some spots.
Deputy Mayor of Augusta Township, Adrian Wynands says the township is in a "Level 2" drought.
Wynands adds that some of the wells have gone dry.
