Retired from Brockville Police in 2016
Retired Constable Tom Nappo has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and smiles across three Ontario police forces.
Nappo began his law enforcement career with the Toronto Police Service, later moving to the Gananoque Police and finishing his service with the Brockville Police Service, where he retired in 2016.
Known for his deep commitment to public safety and the communities he served, Nappo was also remembered fondly by fellow officers for a light-hearted habit — frequently misplacing his notebook in unexpected places. The quirk became an inside joke among colleagues, symbolizing his warm and relatable nature.
Tributes have poured in from across the region, with many remembering his professionalism, kindness, and humour.
“Our thoughts are with Tom’s family, friends, and those who served alongside him,” the Brockville Police said in a statement. “His service will never be forgotten. Rest easy, Tom.”
