As of Wednesday, July 30th
A Total Fire Ban is now in effect for all of Brockville, starting today (July 30).
The ban includes all areas of the city, as well as City-owned islands and St. Lawrence Park.
No open-air fires are allowed, including those in metal fire rings, fire pits, or other outdoor burning setups.
The City of Brockville announced the ban due to high fire risk and dry weather conditions.
Officials say the ban will stay in place until further notice.
Residents and visitors are being asked to follow the rules to help prevent wildfires.
Anyone who breaks the ban could face fines or other penalties.
The City will share updates as the situation changes.
