Road closures along King Street and Court House Avenue will be in effect from 10 a.m. to noon
The City of Brockville will honour Canada’s veterans and fallen heroes during its annual Remembrance Day Civic Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11.
The ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m. with dignitaries and service members gathering in front of City Hall. A procession along King Street will lead to the Cenotaph at the base of Court House Avenue, where the outdoor service will take place.
Residents are invited to attend and pause in remembrance of those who served, those who were wounded, and those who continue to “stand on guard” for freedom and peace.
The city encourages residents to observe a two-minute silence at 11 a.m., wear a poppy, or purchase a wreath through the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 96.
Road closures along King Street and Court House Avenue will be in effect from 10 a.m. to noon.
