The Brockville Fire Department reported responding to 114 emergency calls in July 2025, bringing the year-to-date total to 646 incidents.
The department says the calls ranged across fires, medical emergencies, alarms, rescue operations, and other urgent situations.
According to the department’s latest breakdown, firefighters attended 14 fires, 22 medical calls, 44 alarms, 13 rescue incidents, and 21 other emergencies.
The fire department encourages residents to remain vigilant and prepared for emergencies, emphasizing the importance of smoke alarms, fire safety plans, and quick access to emergency services.
Residents are reminded to report emergencies promptly and follow safety guidelines at home and in public spaces.
