The food drive is on Thursday, August 21st
The Brockville and Area Food Bank says it has been a busy year, but thanks to strong community support, it continues to keep families fed.
Tomorrow, Giant FM, myFM, and the food bank will team up for the All Hands on Deck Food Drive at the Real Canadian Superstore.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
With children heading back to school soon, the food drive has a special focus on items that benefit students.
Alee Andrews, operations manager at the food bank, lists some of the most helpful donations.
She adds that general and cash donations remain welcome, especially at this time of year when demand grows and supplies begin to thin.
Andrews thanks the community for its ongoing support, saying food programs and efforts to keep families nourished would not be possible without it.
