Applications will be reviewed in October
The City of Brockville is inviting residents, business owners, and property owners to apply for the Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee. The committee advises on accessibility issues, reviews government regulations, conducts research, and develops public education programs.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, provide three references, and align with the committee’s goals. Under Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, most members must be persons with disabilities.
The committee meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 1 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers, with a lift and elevator available, and virtual participation permitted.
Interested individuals are encouraged to apply online, explaining how their experience can contribute positively to accessibility initiatives in Brockville. Applications will be reviewed in October.
For more information or to submit an application, visit Brockville Board Application or contact the City of Brockville.
