The community drive aims to ensure that every senior feels remembered and appreciated this Christmas
The holiday season has arrived in Brockville, and so has a favourite local tradition — the annual Stocking Drive for Seniors, presented by Senior Support Services - LLG.
Residents are encouraged to fill a stocking or donate a thoughtful item to brighten the holidays for a local senior. Organizers say even small gifts can bring comfort and joy to those who may be spending the season alone.
Donations can be dropped off at 2235 Parkedale Avenue during regular office hours until December 5. Items such as warm socks, treats, toiletries or small personal gifts are all welcome.
The community drive aims to ensure that every senior feels remembered and appreciated this Christmas.
Organizers say the annual event has become a highlight of the season, showing how Brockville comes together to care for one another.
Those interested in taking part are encouraged to stop by the office or contact organizers for more details on how to help.
