Elizabethtown-Kitley Township neighbours are voicing their concerns with Burnbrae Farms' plan to develop four new barns at the corner of Kitley Line 9 and Johnson Road.
Jeff Mack says the residents were not informed about this.
While others are concerned about their wells going dry from an increase in water usage, Jeff Mack says he's worried about an increase in traffic.
Burnbrae President and CEO, Margaret Hudson says plans include four free-run hen barns on 3% of the property, with the remainder preserved as forest or farmed. The farm continues to provide local, affordable eggs while working closely with township and provincial authorities on responsible development.
The company has been serving Eastern Ontario for nearly 135 years.
