Canada Day in Brockville: What’s open, what’s closed and how to celebrate

Canada Day is just around the corner! Here is what is open and closed in Brockville this Canada Day

Brockville is getting ready to celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. Mayor Matt Wren is inviting everyone to wear red and white and proudly fly the flag to mark 60 years of the maple leaf as Canada’s national symbol.

City offices, including City Hall, Gord Watts Municipal Centre, and public works locations, will be closed. City transit, the compost site, and waste collection will also pause on July 1. Waste pickup will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.

The Brockville Arts Centre, Museum, and Library will be closed on Monday and Canada Day.

Tourism services at 16 Market Street East will remain open on July 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and ambassadors will be out in the community.
