But tourism centre stays open all weekend
City services in Brockville will be closed on Monday, May 19 for the Victoria Day holiday.
That includes City Hall, the Gord Watts Centre, wastewater treatment facilities, and city transit. Waste and recycling pickup will shift one day later than usual.
The compost site at 251 North Augusta Road will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but closed Sunday and Monday.
The Brockville Museum and Public Library will be closed Monday as well, while the Brockville Tourism Visitor Centre at 16 Market Street East will stay open throughout the long weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to watch for Tourism Ambassadors out and about in the city.
Transit will resume Tuesday, May 20.
