Deliveries will be completed by September 22
The City of Brockville is rolling out its new residential green bin program starting today (Sep. 2).
Over the next three weeks, eligible households with six units or fewer will receive a green bin, a smaller container for kitchen scraps, and information on how the new collection program works.
The city said residents do not need to call to request a bin. Deliveries will be completed by September 22.
Households that do not receive a bin by that date are asked to contact the City of Brockville’s Solid Waste Division to arrange pickup or delivery.
The program is designed to make it easier for families to separate organic waste from regular garbage, reducing landfill use and supporting a cleaner community.
More details, including program guidelines and frequently asked questions, are available on the city’s website (brockville.com) under the green bin section.
