Emergency services will not be affected by the closure
The Lansdowne Detachment of the Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police has temporarily closed to the public starting today (October 6) for renovations expected to last until October 31.
The OPP says the closure will allow for important upgrades to modernize the facility and improve services for the community.
During the renovation period, residents needing police assistance are asked to call the non-urgent reporting line at 1-888-310-1122. Those requiring in-person help can visit the Leeds Detachment at 4109 County Road 29 in Brockville or the Portland Detachment at 2761 Highway 15 in Portland.
Emergency services will not be affected by the closure.
The OPP thanked residents for their patience and understanding during the construction period, adding that the improvements will ensure the detachment continues to meet the needs of the public for years to come.
