Every order placed at a participating restaurant helps ensure families across South Grenville have access to food and community support this season
Local pizza lovers can make a difference this month with “Slice Out Hunger,” a community fundraiser supporting the South Grenville Food Bank. Throughout November, three area pizzerias are donating a portion of their pizza sales to help local families in need.
The Village Pantry in Spencerville will donate 10 per cent of all pizza sales every Monday. In Cardinal, Nicky’s Place will contribute $5 from every medium to extra-large pizza sold on Wednesdays. Milano’s Pizza in Prescott will donate 5 per cent of all sales made between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26.
Organizers say the campaign offers an easy — and tasty — way for residents to support neighbours who rely on the food bank. Every order placed at a participating restaurant helps ensure families across South Grenville have access to food and community support this season.
