The value of the theft is believed to be significant
Brockville police are investigating a break and enter at the Shoppers Drug Mart on King Street West that happened early in the morning on October 9.
At around 3:45 a.m., officers responded to two calls reporting the sound of glass breaking and an alarm going off. When police arrived, they found the store’s front window had been smashed.
Officers searched the store but found no suspects inside. They did, however, find other damage to the property.
Security video showed three masked suspects wearing gloves entering the store through the broken window. They went straight to the fragrance cabinet, smashed the glass, and stole several expensive perfumes.
The suspects placed the items into a garbage bag and fled the scene within two minutes.
A forensic team collected key evidence. The value of the theft is believed to be significant.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Brockville Police or Crime Stoppers.
