Vote results are expected in the coming days
In pursuit of increased wages and improved working conditions, a coordinated strike mandate vote occurred Tuesday in Brockville for more than 250 OPSEU/SEFPO Local 441 members.
They work at the Brockville Area Community Living Association, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health, and Children’s Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville.
Amy Jensen of the Brockville Area Community Living Association had this to say.
OPSEU/SEFPO President, JP Hornick said all these workers have come together.
Other union representatives spoke about the importance of the vote and possible service impacts.
