he updated numbers show projected revenues of $472.7 million and expenses of $472.2 million, resulting in a revised surplus of $0.5 million
The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) held its regular public meeting on Wednesday (Oct. 1) where two key items were discussed.
Todd Robertson was sworn in as the newest trustee, filling the seat left vacant by Carole Dufort. Robertson, who worked for the Province of Ontario for 36 years, brings strong experience in mental health and community safety.
Also at the meeting, Chief Business Officer Jeremy Hobbs presented the first financial forecast for 2025-2026. The updated numbers show projected revenues of $472.7 million and expenses of $472.2 million, resulting in a revised surplus of $0.5 million.
Hobbs said rising student enrolment led to increased funding, which was mostly balanced by related costs.
The next financial update will be shared in January 2026.
