A national mental health service for those who have served or continue to serve
Our focus on Mental Health Week continues with Brockville native Jason Ross, a proud supporter of Wounded Warriors Canada. WWC is a national mental health service for those who have served or continue to serve for the Canadian military.
For the the past four years around Remembrance Day, Jason has taken part in a 22km rucksack march in support of this great cause. He explains what the "22" represents.
Jason says a rucksack is basically a backpack with 50lbs inside that would be carried by a Canadian military member. Also, he points out that the "ruck" starts in Prescott, and ends up here in Brockville.
Jason's efforts for WWC don't stop there. For the past two years, he has helped organize charity hockey tournaments here in Brockville to support the cause.
