Racers of all skill levels are welcome
The 1000 Islands Triathlon, presented by Somersault Events, is set for Sunday, August 10.
The event combines swimming, biking, and running in a scenic and challenging race.
Race Director and Somersault Events owner Adam Kourakis says the event is open to everyone, no matter their skill level.
He also noted that races come in different lengths, giving participants flexible options.
Each racer will be given a bib, and their time will be officially tracked. Racers are advised to bring only the essentials.
Kourakis says there’s still time to register, but spots are limited.
He added that spectators play a big role too. Whether cheering on friends or watching emotional finish-line moments, the day offers something for everyone.
