Expecations for this core are higher than ever after a playoff apperance, and Brown says that has comes across in training camp.
One of the bigger question marks headed into the year is the health of defencman Nick Jensen, who Brown says is looking better than some may think.
Jensen underwent hip resurfacing surgery, a procedure that only two players (Ed Jovanovski, Nicklas Backstrom) who've had it ever played another NHL game.
Another question mark with health is goaltender Linus Ullmark, who is is entering his second season with the club.
