President and CEO of the Brockville Hospital Julie Caffin says the heat means the hospital is bursting at the seems.
She says there are some key signs of heat stroke to look out for, even a surprising one.
Also look for nausea, red skin, headaches, shallow breathing or increased heart rate. Caffin says if those symptoms show up, get to the hospital.
She also reminds us that when it comes to the Emergency Room, the most serious cases will be dealt with first.
