Officials have not released the woman’s name at this time
A 34-year-old woman has died after a suspected overdose in Brockville on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Police say they responded to a call around 5:00 p.m. and learned that the woman had already been taken by paramedics to Brockville General Hospital. Despite life-saving efforts by medical staff, she was later pronounced dead.
Brockville Police say the death is not considered suspicious. However, the Office of the Chief Coroner is now leading the investigation, with assistance from local police.
Officials have not released the woman’s name at this time.
