Remains in custody pending a bail hearing
On June 15, Brockville police arrested a 51-year-old woman on probation after two separate disturbances in the city.
At 3:45 p.m., she threatened a family near King Street West, yelling and spitting on their vehicle. She was arrested but released a few hours later with charges including uttering threats and mischief.
Later, around 7 p.m., the same woman caused a violent scene at a Proxi Gas Station on Stewart Boulevard. She hit an employee, swung firewood at the store wall, and assaulted another staff member.
Police arrived as she tried to run but caught her quickly. New charges include assault, resisting arrest, criminal harassment, and probation violations.
She remains in custody pending a bail hearing. Authorities urge anyone facing similar disturbances to report immediately.
