Residents can visit the storefront Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to explore refurbished electronics and accessories or access repair services
Brockville residents can recycle old electronics, find affordable refurbished computers and get technical support at a local centre working to keep electronic waste out of landfills.
The EIT Refurbishing Centre, located in Suite 112 of the Apex building at 100 Strowger Blvd., is a certified electronic waste collector through Recycle My Electronics.
The centre accepts items such as televisions, computers, laptops and monitors from the public, businesses and institutions. It also offers free electronic waste pickup for businesses and institutions.
Electronics that can be repaired or upgraded are prepared for resale at reduced prices, giving computers and other equipment a second chance. Items that cannot be repaired are sent to an Ontario processing centre for recycling.
The centre also provides computer and laptop repairs, troubleshooting for hardware and software problems, and technical support for network and security issues.
Residents can visit the storefront Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to explore refurbished electronics and accessories or access repair services.
