Brockville has been selected to host the 2027 Ontario 55+ Summer Games, bringing about 1,400 participants to the city over three days in mid-August.
Ontario's Minister of Sport, Neil Lumsden said it's no surprise Brockville was selected.

The event is projected to generate $1.5 million in economic activity, benefiting accommodations, dining and attractions, while enhancing the city’s profile as a sport tourism hub and highlighting its waterfront, businesses and community offerings.
