The Brockville Legion is mourning the loss of longtime member Peter McNamee, remembered for his steady leadership and quiet dedication. McNamee served as Sergeant-at-Arms for 10 years at Branch 96, where he was known as dependable, committed and supportive of fellow members.
The Legion said he could always be counted on and left a lasting impression on the community. A celebration of life is set for April 25 at Irvine Funeral Home, with a Legion tribute planned at the start. A private interment will follow later at Beechwood Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may support Brockville Arts Hub or Maple View Long Term Care Home.
