Local MPP Steve Clark delivered two major announcements about power for the Leeds and Grenville region during the annual Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit on Friday.
Clark explained that while the area has seen several major projects announced recently, residents and businesses also need reliable power to support growth and local development.
He outlined what the announcements will allow for the Leeds and Grenville area, highlighting opportunities for stronger infrastructure and expanded capacity to meet community and business needs.
Clark said the announcements send a clear signal that the voices of Leeds and Grenville are being heard at the provincial level.
The summit, held at the North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville, also featured a keynote from Ontario’s Associate Minister of Small Business Nina Tangri, and a joint announcement with Ontario’s Associate Minister of Energy-Intensive Industries Sam Oosterhoff.
