The Braves' home game tonight against the Smiths-Falls Bears has been postponed with a new date to be determined
Brockville Braves' forward Peter Legostaev is staying with the QMJHL's Gatineau Olympiques for the remainder of the 2025-26 season, the club announced on Wednesday.
The news comes fresh off a fourth place finish for Legostaev and Team Canada East at the World Jr. A Challenge last weekend in Trois-Rivières, where he led the way with an impressive four points in five games.
He said he's always working on his game.
The 18-year-old already has eight points in nine appearances with Gatineau. An experience he's enjoyed so far.
He has 17 points in 12 games with the Braves this season.
Braves' President Dustin Traylen believes Legostaev has a shot at being selected in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
The Braves' home game tonight against the Smiths-Falls Bears has been postponed with a new date to be determined. However, they'll be in Rockland this weekend for the CCHL Winter Showcase.
Brockville's first game is against the Hawkesbury Hawks tomorrow at 1:15 p.m.
