Numbers continue to rise at the Brockville & Area Food Bank, and Manager Amanda Petch has the details.
Amanda was at Feed Ontario's Day of Action on Wednesday at Queen's Park in Toronto to discuss the unsustainable pressure food banks continue to face.
Here she is on a couple of issues that were brought up.
She adds that someone on OW (Ontario Works) who can only work part-time, can't afford to make ends meet in today's economy.
Our Bruce Wylie asked if she feels a sense of hope after everything she heard at the event.
