The organization is asking anyone who may have a suitable dryer available for donation to drop it off at 800 Centennial Rd
The Ontario SPCA Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre is asking the community for urgent help after its primary dryer neared the end of its lifespan, raising concerns about its ability to care for animals in need.
The shelter says it washes countless loads of bedding, blankets and towels every day to keep animals warm, clean and comfortable while they wait for adoption. Staff members say the current dryer could stop working at any time and are seeking the donation of a large-capacity dryer, either new or gently used.
Shelter officials say a reliable dryer plays an important role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for animals in their care. Clean bedding and warm blankets help ensure the animals remain comfortable as they await their forever homes.
The organization is asking anyone who may have a suitable dryer available for donation to drop it off at 800 Centennial Rd.
The shelter thanked the community for its ongoing generosity and support and encouraged residents to share the request.
