The City of Brockville is reminding residents about holiday closures and service changes during the Victoria Day weekend while also marking the start of the summer season for several popular attractions.
Municipal offices, including City Hall, the Gord Watts Municipal Centre, the Wastewater Treatment Centre and the Water Filtration Plant, will be closed Monday.
There will also be no city transit or waste collection service that day. Waste pickup will shift one day later for next week (May 18 to 22).
The compost site will also be closed Monday.
Meanwhile, several tourism facilities will remain open. The Brockville Tourism Visitor Information Centre and the Brockville Museum will operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Victoria Day.
