Residents in the Brockville area are being invited to review and comment on proposed changes to a Highway 401 improvement project in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal.
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has released an addendum to a Transportation Environmental Study Report covering a section of Highway 401 between a point east of North Augusta Road and east of Maitland Road.
The project area spans about 2.8 kilometres and includes plans related to the replacement or rehabilitation of a bridge and a culvert, as well as future highway widening needs.
According to the ministry, the addendum documents changes to the preferred plan identified through an earlier environmental assessment process.
The updated report is available for public review from June 4 to July 6. Residents, businesses and other interested parties are encouraged to examine the document and submit comments before the review period closes.
