Brockville company caught up in federal probe into Chinese cable imports

Preliminary findings are scheduled for May and June following complaint from PTI Cables Inc in Quebec

The Canada Border Services Agency launches investigations into alleged dumping and subsidizing of unarmoured building cables from China, following a complaint by PTI Cables Inc.

The probe examines pricing and subsidies affecting Canadian producers, says local MP Michael Barrett.

This includes Northern Cables Inc here in Brockville, Barrett adds.
