The City of Brockville has declared a significant weather event as of 9 a.m. this morning.
The alert will remain in effect until further notice.
A city-wide overnight parking ban is also in place during the event.
Parking is prohibited on city streets from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. Violations may result in fines or towing.

Public transit services, including City Transit and River Route Transit, remain in operation, but riders should expect delays due to road conditions and reduced visibility.
Officials advise passengers to allow extra travel time, exercise caution when boarding and exiting buses, and monitor city social media for updates.
