The organization says the recognition reflects the team's ongoing efforts to build more inclusive workplaces and communities
A Brockville organization helping people with disabilities find work has earned provincial recognition for its efforts to make workplaces more inclusive.
Career Services of Brockville has received the Ontario Disability Employment Network's (ODEN) Disability Employment Service Award for Outstanding Employment Service Provider.
The organization announced the achievement in a social media post, thanking its clients, employers, community partners and supporters for helping make its work possible.
Staff members Wendy and Tina accepted the award on behalf of the team.
The recognition comes as the organization continues working to create more employment opportunities for people with disabilities across the community.
Career Services of Brockville staff also attended the Rethinking Disability Conference last week, joining colleagues from across Ontario to share ideas, exchange experiences and learn about ways to improve inclusive employment.
The organization says the recognition reflects the team's ongoing efforts to build more inclusive workplaces and communities.
