The Brockville Fire Department responded to 115 emergency calls in May, with alarms making up the largest share of incidents.
The department released its monthly call totals on Tuesday, showing firefighters answered 51 alarm calls during the month.
Medical calls were the second highest category at 35, followed by 16 calls listed as other incidents.
Fire crews also responded to seven rescue calls and six fires in May, according to the department’s figures. The monthly total came to 115 responses across all categories.
The department said it is proud to serve the community and used the update to remind residents about fire safety at home.
