Crates can be picked up at the food bank
The Brockville and Area Food Bank is digging deeper into its budget as food donations decline and demand for support continues.
Manager Amanda Petch said the food bank is purchasing most of its food at the moment.
Donations often slow down around this time of year, and Petch explained why.
She also highlighted the most-needed item at the food bank right now.
She said the organization is currently selling milk crates as a fundraiser.
The crates can be picked up at the food bank. Donations are also encouraged as the organization works to keep shelves stocked for local residents.
