Amanda Petch, general manager of the food bank, says the community's generosity will help keep the shelves stocked until December
The 2026 Rotary Fall Harvest Sharing Food Drive has raised more than $12,000 and collected thousands of pounds of food to help keep Brockville families fed.
The three-day drive, which ran from Thursday to Saturday last week, brought in $12,228.85 in donations and more than 5,460 pounds of food for the Brockville and Area Food Bank.
Amanda Petch, general manager of the food bank, says the community's generosity will help keep the shelves stocked until December.
The donations will help the food bank continue supporting people in Brockville and the surrounding area who are struggling to afford groceries.
With the cost of everyday essentials putting pressure on household budgets, food donations and financial contributions help the organization maintain its supplies and respond to local needs.
