Doherty is scheduled to appear in Brockville court again tomorrow at 11 a.m. by video
Alison Doherty will remain in custody after appearing in Brockville court last week, in connection with a July homicide investigation in Augusta Township.
Doherty faces a charge of indignity to a dead body related to the investigation.
A judge denied bail following arguments from both the Crown and defence during the court appearance.
Doherty's lawyer, Adrian Halpert was seeking a release with conditions, while the Crown argued she should remain detained.
Doherty is scheduled to appear in Brockville court again tomorrow at 11 a.m. by video.
