Organizers have already announced next year’s tournament will take place Sept. 1, 2027, at the Brockville Country Club
The Brockville community has once again shown its support for local families facing life-limiting illnesses through the annual Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament.
The 33rd annual event took place Sept. 2 at the Brockville Country Club, bringing together golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers to raise funds for Palliative Care Outreach Services at BGH.
Organizers from the Friends of Palliative Care Golf Committee and the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation thanked everyone who helped make the tournament a success.
Trish Buote, executive director of the hospital foundation, said the generosity of supporters continues to make a difference year after year.
The tournament follows the motto “Friends Helping Friends” and has supported compassionate care for more than three decades.
Funds raised help ensure individuals and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses can access care and support close to home.
