A senior officer with the Brockville Police Service has completed an intensive international training program in the United States.
Inspector Darryl Boyd graduated from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va., following a 10-week course focused on leadership and advanced policing strategies.
The program brings together law enforcement professionals from across North America and around the world. Participants are tested both mentally and physically, including completing a 10-kilometre obstacle course known as the Yellow Brick Road.
Police say it is a rare opportunity, with the service’s last participant being Deputy Chief Harvie.
