Residents are encouraged to prepare their leaves using the city’s approved containers to avoid missing collection
Brockville residents getting ready for fall cleanup should leave their plastic bags behind when putting out leaves this season.
The City of Brockville’s 2026 curbside leaf collection will take place during two weeks, from Oct. 26 to 30 and Nov. 23 to 27.
Leaves must be placed at the curb before 7 a.m. on residents’ regularly scheduled collection day.
The city says leaves are collected using a separate vehicle, meaning they may be picked up before or after garbage and recycling.
Residents can use paper bags or reusable containers to hold their leaves. Reusable containers must be labelled to show they contain leaves.
Plastic bags of any kind will not be accepted, and paper leaf bags must not be taped or stapled.
Residents are encouraged to prepare their leaves using the city’s approved containers to avoid missing collection.
